At Ohana Behavioral Health, we are a community of diverse professionals united by our commitment to enhancing the mental well-being of a wide range of clients, including children, teens, adults, couples, and families. We are currently seeking a few fully licensed clinicians in the State of Washington, each with experience and skills in one or more of the following areas: working with young children as young as 3 years old, infants mental health, and/or perinatal mental health; Gottman or EFT approaches for couples; and EMDR. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who are excited about joining a group practice setting and are capable of providing both in-office and remote telehealth services.

This position is not suited to someone who is interested in pursuing other private or group practice endeavors. We are looking for a clinician who is excited to be part of our growing community of practitioners.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Seek feedback from and collaborate with our clinical supervisor, director, and other clinicians in the practice, and respond to feedback with openness and grace

  • You are able and willing to consistently respond to clients, the clinical supervisor, the clinical director, and other clinicians within 24 hours of contact on workdays

  • You complete clinical notes within 48 hours of a session and diagnoses/treatment plans within 1 week of the first full session

  • Ability to be humble and accountable, admit areas of growth and work to remedy problems with the help of others in the practice with a spirit of generosity

  • Desire to continue learning for personal and professional growth, and how it impacts the clients we work with, and ourselves

  • Value collaborative consultation, continuously strive for professional growth, possess a well-defined clinical style, and exhibit strong organizational skills to effectively manage their schedule and promptly attend to clients.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with computers to facilitate efficient communication, handle attachments, and navigate a web-based practice system for client data and progress tracking.
  • Display comfort and skill in engaging clients through telehealth platforms, ensuring confidentiality, and maintaining a suitable private workspace.

  • Competitive compensation, with a flat fee ranging from $50- $52 (Associate level- depending on experience) and $60 (Fully Licensed), per billable client session. Clinicians are also paid an administrative hourly rate of $20 for non-clinical hours, and the opportunity to earn extra income if they choose to write blog entries, Social Media, or community engagement activities.
  • Yearly training stipend for continuing education with the opportunity for Ohana to pay for larger, more expensive training
  • 5% automatic increase in your 5th year with Ohana
  • Paid sick time of 1 hour for every 40 hours of client work
  • Kaiser Core Silver for Medical, dental, and vision coverage paid at 50% by Ohana upon the first day of hire.

  • Individual and bimonthly group case consultations, as well as monthly team meetings to foster ongoing learning and collaboration.
  • Complete billing support, and an intake scheduler to streamline your workflow.
  • Comfortable office space (or support working via telehealth), with ample parking available 
  • Paid time for documentation/administrative work and networking/marketing
  • HIPAA-compliant EHR, phone line, email, and fax
  • Marketing on Ohana Behavioral Health’s website, Facebook page, and other online marketing
  • If fully licensed: credentialing with  Premera, Lifewise, Cigna, and First Choice (these sometimes take a few months)
  • The ability to manage your own schedule  and work collaboratively with other therapists
  • Clinical supervision if you are an associate-level clinician
  • Play Therapy Supervision if you are working on your RPT credential.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Master’s Degree in a mental health field
  • Active and unrestricted license (e.g., MFT, MHC, Psy.D, Ph.D.) in good standing in the State of Washington.
  • Available to build up at least up to 25 hours of clinical work weekly

  • Available to work some evening hours

  • Hours: We understand that you may be transitioning out of a full-time or part-time job, so you will have some flexibility in scheduling. You are expected to be available to work at least some evenings.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a private practice setting.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-unrestricted licensure experience.
  • Expertise or specialization in a particular counseling niche (e.g., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.).
Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing individual, couples, and family counseling services across various age groups.
  • Managing an average caseload of 25 clients per week.
  • Embracing a hybrid approach, offering both remote teletherapy and in-office sessions via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans, as well as maintaining accurate progress notes for each client.
  • Participating in bi-weekly case reviews and consultations, as well as monthly staff meetings.
